Antoine Predock is an American architect known for his distinctive, sculptural buildings, often inspired by the natural environment and local cultures. He is particularly recognized for his use of materials such as stone, concrete, and steel, as well as for his attention to light, shadow, and spatial experience. Predock’s notable works include the La Luz Community in Albuquerque, the Canadian Museum of Human Rights in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and the Turtle Creek House in Dallas, Texas. Predock received many honors for his work, including the American Institute of Architects Gold Medal in 2006, and he continues to be a leading figure in contemporary architecture.
