Philip L. Goodwin (1885–1958) was an American architect known for his influential work in modern architecture. A graduate of both Harvard University and the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris, Goodwin gained recognition for his design of the original Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) building in New York City, alongside Edward Durell Stone, in 1939. His collaboration with MoMA helped set a new standard for modern museum design, combining functionalism with an understated elegance.
