Concrete in Architecture Works

Concrete in Architecture Works brings together ArchEyes projects where concrete defines the structure, the surface or both. Cast in place, precast or left rough from the formwork, the material allows mass, span and sculptural form within a single system. The collection moves from Álvaro Siza’s Leça Swimming Pools and Peter Zumthor’s Bruder Klaus Field Chapel to SANAA’s Rolex Learning Center and contemporary houses by TETRO in Brazil, showing concrete as both engineering and atmosphere.
