Clorindo Testa was an acclaimed Argentine architect and artist, born on December 10, 1923, and known for his significant contributions to Argentine Brutalist architecture. Often working in collaboration with other architects, Testa’s designs are marked by bold forms, exposed concrete, and an innovative integration of structure and space. Some of his most famous works include the National Library of the Argentine Republic and the Bank of London and South America in Buenos Aires. Testa’s unique approach blended functional architecture with artistic expression, making him one of the most influential figures in 20th-century Argentine architecture.
