Transparency

Transparency in Architecture refers to using materials and design strategies that allow for visual access or openness within a building or structure. This can include using glass, screens, or other materials that provide clear sightlines between interior and exterior spaces or using open floor plans and minimal partitions to create a sense of visual continuity and connection within a space. Transparency can also refer to using materials that allow for the passage of light, creating a luminous and airy atmosphere within a building. In addition to its aesthetic qualities, transparency can also serve functional purposes, such as promoting natural ventilation, enhancing views, and encouraging interaction and communication between occupants.
