A Blend of Privacy, Comfort, and Sustainability

At the heart of Village Verde’s design philosophy is the integration of the complex into its Mediterranean setting. The architects have employed noble materials such as wood and light-colored whitewashes on the facades, aiming to harmonize the structures with their natural surroundings. The design, evocative of maritime elements and undulating forms, combines traditional materials and modern finishes, striking a balance between nature, tradition, and contemporary living.

The concept behind Village Verde is revolutionary in its approach to communal living, providing the privacy and amenities typically associated with single-family homes. The project is distinguished by its expansive terraces and large windows, enhancing the fluidity between indoor and outdoor spaces. This design choice not only maximizes natural light but also reduces the need for structural pillars, offering unobstructed views and private outdoor areas for each residence.

L35 Architects’ commitment to environmental stewardship is evident in their effort to minimize the project’s impact on the local ecosystem. Collaborating with ecological experts, the team has taken measures to preserve indigenous flora, including cork oaks and olive trees. This sensitivity extends to the project’s energy efficiency, with the development achieving a GOOD rating from BREEAM for its sustainable practices.

The interior design of Village Verde reflects the luminosity and warmth of the Mediterranean. Natural fibers and a palette inspired by stone, earth, green, and blue hues create inviting spaces that blend seamlessly with the outdoors. The arrangement of furniture and the selection of materials focus on simplicity and functionality while maintaining a connection with the project’s natural setting.
