Bruno Taut (1880-1938) was a prominent German architect known for his contributions to the early 20th-century architectural movement, Expressionism. Taut’s work is characterized by its innovative use of color and unique design concepts. He played a significant role in the development of social housing projects in Germany and is perhaps best known for his involvement in the “Berlin Modernism Housing Estates,” which included the famous “Hufeisensiedlung” (Horseshoe Estate).
