Portuguese Architecture on ArchEyes centres on the Porto school and its heirs. The archive includes Álvaro Siza’s Leça Swimming Pools, Fernando Távora’s Quinta da Conceição park and Eduardo Souto de Moura’s Braga Municipal Stadium, together with a long series of houses by Mário Martins Atelier, many of them in the Algarve, projects by OODA and Estúdio AMATAM, a CLT housing cooperative and MVRDV’s Marvila masterplan in Lisbon. Precision, whiteness and a close reading of topography run through this work.
