Barry Berkus

Barry Berkus was an American modernist architect known for his contributions to mid-century modern architecture, particularly in Southern California. He was born in 1935 in Santa Barbara, California, and graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in architecture. He began his career as an intern with William Cody in Palm Springs and later founded his firm, B3 Architects. Throughout his career, Berkus designed numerous residential and commercial buildings, including the iconic Park Imperial South Residences in Palm Springs. He passed away in 2012 at the age of 77.
