Hollyhock House / Frank Lloyd Wright

Frank Lloyd Wright designed Hollyhock House as part of a commission from oil heiress Louise Aline Barnsdall to create an avant-garde theatre and cultural complex called Olive Hill. Of the entire complex, only the residence and two apartments were completed. Located in the East Hollywood neighbourhood of Los Angeles, Hollyhock House was completed between 1919 and 1921.

The Exhibition and Tourist Center designed by West-line Studio is located in Fuxing Town, inside the Danxia landform area and on the main tourist routes. The site highlights the typical characteristics of this particular area, with its complicated morphology. The whole building has been designed following the movement of the soil in a circular route around the central open courtyard.
