About JDS Architects
JDS is a multidisciplinary office that focuses on architecture and design, from large-scale planning to urban furniture. The office is fueled by talented designers, architects, technicians and thinkers that jointly develop projects from early sketches to on-site supervision. All of which, independent of scale, outlines an approach that is affirmatively social in its outcome, enthusiastic in its ambition and rigorous in its process.
We work with municipalities, governments, corporate and private clients to design projects that span the entire programmatic spectrum of the urban condition. The office has a wide portfolio of international work and a workflow that involves external consultants early on to improve the design intelligence of a given project team. A structure of complimentary teams ensures that a project will not suffer from being too conventional or too naive.
In today’s global market, the ability to form effective and productive collaborations has become a crucial element in attaining a competitive advantage. At JDS, we structure our work method to initiate new forms of collaborative architecture by employing people with diverse backgrounds and engaging in global partnerships.
