Memories of Tokyo was filmed across a week in April and  portraits a cinematic journey through the many faces of Tokyo during full cherry blossom season – from bustling business streets to cosplay districts, urban girl-bands, robots & trains, peaceful parks, shrines and temples, where cherry blossoms fall like snow.

It’s been a couple of months since our trip to Tokyo, and we’re still thinking about it. Whilst we were there I snapped away on the camera as Miguel shot video, but being the busy fella he is, it’s taken him until now to pull it all together – I think it was worth the wait!

I attempted to do a more traditional face-to-camera vlog for all of five minutes, before forgetting about it completely and enjoying the trip (and taking photos) without disruption. I guess it’s something that takes a little getting used to! So instead, you’ll hear me talking retrospectively about the trip, along with a few of our most cherished memories.
